  5. Along with this file you should find two programs called 'PcC3.5' and
  6. 'PcF3.5'. They are made to patch PCCopy and PCFormat respectively from
  7. the 'EXTRAS 1.2' disk, to allow reading/writing/formatting 3.5 inch 360k
  8. (2 sides/40 Tracks/9 sectors) MS-DOS disks. In order to make the programs
  9. work, put PcC3.5 and PCCopy, PcF3.5 and PCFormat into the same directory.
  10. Patches are always applied in memory and not on disk, so you may copy them
  11. directly into the Extras:PCUtil directory.

  13.  3.5"/360K is not a standard MS-DOS format, but every PC with a 3.5" drive
  14. will read and write them, but may not format them, depending on the DOS
  15. version and the installed driver. If you need to format a disk in a PCCopy-
  16. readable manner on a PC, you have to boot with DOS 2.xx. On some machines
  17. you have just to remove the corresponding driver from 'config.sys'.

  19.  These patches do not add any new features to the programs, but they just
  20. remove all those checks PCCopy and PCFormat do to ensure that the drive is
  21. a 5.25" drive and that the drive is unavaiable to dos.
